US 34 and Taft Avenue Intersection Improvement Project Overview
The US 34 and Taft Avenue Intersection Improvement Project is underway! This project addresses intersection improvements to the aging waterline and stormwater infrastructure, improving bike and pedestrian accesses, reducing congestion, and strengthening safety at one of Loveland’s busiest areas. US34/Eisenhower Boulevard is pivotal in Loveland's region transportation network. It serves not only as a main corridor for Lovelanders but as the gateway to Rocky Mountain National Park, attracting a significant number of visitors. Phase 1 of this project is anticipated to start on Monday, July 8.

US 34 and Taft Avenue Intersection Improvement Project - Phase 2 Overview
Phase 2 of the US 34 and Taft Avenue Intersection Improvement Project has brought exciting updates, transforming one of Loveland’s busiest intersections. In collaboration with the City’s Public Works and Water and Power Departments, our team has accomplished the following: ✅ Replaced outdated 12-inch cast iron pipes with new, durable 12-inch PVC pipes and upgraded waterlines and valves. ✅ Installed brand-new traffic signal poles alongside electrical and communication utility upgrades. ✅ Reconstruction of southbound Taft Avenue, adding two new turning lanes, ADA-compliant sidewalks, curbs, and gutters.
